New Directions After School is a drug, alcohol and school drop-out prevention program working with 30 at-risk students per year. Elementary school tutoring, study skills development, homework assistance, counseling, recreational activities, trips and workshops are all provided free to students enrolled in elementary schools within the Phoenixville Area School District.

SAFE (summer activities for enrichment) is an extension of the New Directions After School program. This program provides recreational activities, trips and and outings to elementary aged students enrolled in elementary schools within the Phoenixville Area School District. The academic and social enrichment camp meets 5 days a week over the summer recess.

Fast Forward is an extension of the New Directions After School program providing similar free programming to at-risk students enrolled at the Phoenixville Area Middle School.

Over 15 teams compete in this 8 week summer league held in conjunction with the Phoenixville Borough Park & Recreation Department. The league is managed and sponsored by local community members and volunteers.

A safe place for students to have open discussions with mentors and teachers. Challenging topics that students may not be able to discuss at home include peer pressure, health, identity,and self esteem. This safe haven program provides confidentiality, empowerment, accountability, responsibility and growth for successful community leaders.
